Angel Radio's big question, which gives us a constant headache, is - 'Where is the money to keep the station on air going to come from?'
We spend far too much time chasing funding when we could be putting that effort into expanding our unique work for older people. Our Programme Sponsors, Advertisers and Listeners all help to keep Angel Radio on the air, and to continue the work we do in the local community to help older people.
This page lists some of the ways you can become one of our financial supporters.

You can sponsor a series of programmes on Angel Radio. Your sponsorship will last for the duration of the series or up to a maximum of 1 year.
Your name is mentioned at the beginning and end of the show, and when the show is promoted.
Programme Sponsorship for individuals - £100 per year
Programme Sponsorship for business - £250 per year

You can help Angel Radio on a monthly basis by simply completing a Standing Order form and then send it back to us at 17 Market Parade. We will then send it to your bank. This will transfer a regular sum from your account to Angel Radio's account.
You choose the amount and day it is transferred each month. You can request a form by email -

Our Pay-to-Play days are great fun. For a whole day we charge you for your record requests. The cost is a minimum of £1 per record, but you can give as much as you can afford.

We do not currently have a station sponsor, but we are keen to work with a large company to mutual benefit.
The company name will be linked, as Station Sponsor, with the name Angel Radio each hour on FM and on our internet streams. The company business details will also be promoted on air.
We have not set a cost of Station Sponsorship, we would like to hear from interested parties to discuss terms.
