THE ROWANS HOSPICE MOONLIT MEMORIES WALK 2011

The route starts at Castle Field, Southsea at 11pm, passes along Southsea seafront and takes walkers into the Historic Dockyard, past HMS Victory which will be lit up especially for the occasion, and into Old Portsmouth before finally returning to Castle Field for breakfast.

“This is a wonderful event that anyone over 16 can take part in. It is an opportunity to remember a close family member or friend, to raise vital money to support The Rowans Hospice and also to get fit. I would encourage people to sign up as soon as possible to secure their place and avoid disappointment.”

Again, this year, The Moonlit Memories Walk is aiming to raise £300,000 for The Rowans Hospice, a charity that depends on almost £10,000 in donations a day to provide care for patients with life-limiting illness resident in Portsmouth and South-East Hants , their relatives and carers.
